Building Approval Granted – Construction to Start at the Beginning of 2016

Frankfurt, the 20th of October 2015. Frankfurt will soon lay claim to the highest residential structure of Germany. The 160-meter-tall high-rise is going to be located at the entrance to the city's Europaviertel, a triangular-shaped district bordered by the Messe (Convention Center), the Bankenviertel (banking district), and the neighborhood of Westend. The City of Frankfurt has issued the official construction permit.

The new residential high-rise, with a total of 47 floors, will provide space for 401 residential units. As Jürgen Blankenberg, the Executive Director of gsp STÄDTEBAU, has stated, "Construction is planned to start at the beginning of 2016 so that by the end of 2018 the first residents can already welcome in the new year on New Year's Eve with the unique view from the new building."

According to Blankenberg, the prestigious condominiums will meet virtually all possible international standards and expectations: "Thanks to the exceptional architecture, we can fulfill almost every possible taste and requirement. There will be smaller but high-quality apartments as well as convenient family-sized units, duplexes with breathtaking views, and truly one-of-a-kind penthouses."

Olaf Cunitz, the Mayor of Frankfurt, recently said: "I'm particularly pleased that the winning design of the Frankfurt architects Magnus Kaminiarz and Cie. is being realized. The impressive architecture of the new building will be a symbol of today's Frankfurt."

The building will have a total floor area of approximately 44,000 m2, with around 420 above and below-ground parking spaces. gsp STÄDTEBAU plans to begin sales in the second quarter of 2016.
