Grand Tower gets two German Design Awards 2018

    The Grand Tower has won the prestigious German Design Award in two categories.



    The building received the prize "German Design Award Winner 2018" in the category Excellent Communications Design Architecture. It was honored as a "new landmark for Frankfurt". The work of the responsible architect Magnus Kaminiarz "sets new standards in urban housing construction in Germany".

    The jury awarded a second prize to the Grand Tower. This involved the marketing work of the Stern agency and how "the global strengths of this unique construction project was distributed worldwide". In this regard, the Grand Tower won the title "German Design Winner 2018" in the category of communication design books.

    With these two awards, the Grand Tower finds itself in a series of design icons and international projects. They range from the Four Seasons Hotel in New York through the new ICE 4 bullet train to hansgrohe products.

    The German Design Award is awarded by the German Design Council. It is regarded as the central German brand and design institute. Founded in 1953 by an initiative of the German Bundestag, the foundation supports the economy by consistently achieving brand value through design. The German Design Award was introduced in the year 2012.
